The Mobile Equestrian Center – Eagles Landing and
Therapeutic Horse Riding Program
The Mobile Equestrian Center’s (MEC) therapeutic riding program is sponsored by 99 for 1 Ministries (a 501 (C) 3 non-profit). MEC is owned and operated by Becky Parsons. Dawn Honeycutt is the head trainer for The Mobile Equestrian Center and has over 22 years of experience working with adults, children and their horses and works towards helping all riders (regardless of their initial ability) to come away instilled with a sense of physical
accomplishment and, we hope, an awe of what God has made for us to enjoy.
Pastor Lonnie Honeycutt, president of 99 for 1 Ministries, and his wife Dawn were blessed to have a son who has Asperger’s (a form of Autism). As such, they know the trials and energy needed to raise a special needs child and, with the help of Ms. Parsons, our program is designed so that we can work one-on-one with individuals (within the parameters of their cognitive, emotional and physical needs) who want schooling in traditional dressage,
therapeutic riding or equine-assisted therapies.
